SIGNS OF HALLOWEEN IN QUARTZSITE
TRICK OR TREAT IS A VERY BIG DEAL EVERYONE GETS INTO THE ACT
Halloween in Quartzsite is a whole Town celebration. All the kids are escorted by Police Cars and Fire Engines. The sirens and flashing lights can be heard for miles. Over 200 kids are escorted through town and big RV Parks stopping everywhere to off load and collect goodie bags. Every Park and Town Business packs a couple of hundred bags filled with donated candy. My Home Park participates in this each year and it's so much fun. The kids come parading through our club house and they are so excited and so cute that its hard to discribe.

I have been in Quartzite for 3 winters. I hated it for the first 2. I begged my husband to leave sooner than later. We finally found all the activities - gem and mineral club, dancing, Spanish class and other things..wow.. it was so much fun I hated to leave. After hating going each year and wanting to stay home, NOW I actually want to go back.
We tent camped in the boondocks. I would like to find a cheap RV to start with... haha.. and stay in town with hook ups. More like home? I think I would totally love it again. mistyfly2me@aol.com if you hear of any cheap RVs. smile
